    The Opportunity

    The Key Account Manager will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term Key Accounts using a consultative approach.  You will build strong relationships with the Key Account portfolio, identify needs and requirements, increase transactional spend and promote our Group services to achieve mutual satisfaction and provide market intelligence and feedback as required to develop new services across the group.

    The role will involve:


    • Developing trust relationships with our Key Account portfolio to exceed growth & retention targets
    • Acquiring a thorough understanding of customer’s needs and requirements
    • Increasing Key Accounts portfolio by introducing new firms to our products and services
    • Setting and attending face-to-face client meetings from user training through to strategic partnership meetings
    • Resolving any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust and a good working relationship
    • Organising and conducting CPDs, product seminars and company presentations
    • Writing business plans and tenders to engage customers and prospect businesses
    • Organising and attending seminars, exhibitions and conferences
    • Providing feedback on products, the market and competitor activity
    • Identifying business opportunities and coordinate customer feedback
    • Organising focus groups with the Key Account portfolio
    • Producing and work to account development plans / quarterly sales presentations, team objectives and the company’s core values

    About You

    You will ideally be of graduate calibre, confident, self-motivated, organised and target driven.  You will have:


    • Strong experience in a customer facing role with the drive to exceed minimum expectations
    • Coupled with field sales or account management experience, preferably within the business to business sectors. Legal sector experience would be an advantage.
    • Versatility and confidence to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Excellent written and oral skills
    • Ability to network and build excellent rapport with varied customers and colleagues
    • A thorough understanding of professional account selling
    • Ability to construct and deliver persuasive presentations
    • Be comfortable working from home, using core Microsoft Office applications and other industry relevant programs.
    • Ability to analyse and interpret Excel spreadsheets, use of Word Processing, PowerPoint applications.

    This role will be home based (Manchester/Leeds area) and you must be happy to travel nationally and stay away from home overnight as and when needed.
