    The Opportunity

    The Key Account Manager will obtain and maintain long term Key Accounts using a consultative approach, build strong relationships with the Key Account portfolio, identify needs and requirements, increase transactional spend and promote our Group services to achieve mutual satisfaction and provide market intelligence and feedback as required to develop new services across the group.

    The role will involve:

     

    • Acquiring a thorough understanding of customers’ needs and requirements, developing relationships with our Key Account portfolio to exceed growth & retention targets
    • Thinking holistically across our group businesses to continuously propose solutions that meet their objectives that involve services provided by all companies within the DMGT group
    • Increasing the Key Accounts portfolio by introducing new firms to our products and services
    • Setting and attending face-to-face client meetings from user training through to strategic partnership meetings
    • Organising and conducting CPDs, product seminars and company presentations. Attending seminars, exhibitions and conferences.  Organising focus groups with the key account portfolio.
    • Resolving any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust and a good working relationship
    • Writing business plans and tenders to engage customers and prospect businesses
    • Identifying business opportunities and coordinating customer feedback.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, confident, target orientated, self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills.  You will also have:

     

    • Strong experience in a customer facing, field sales, account management role
    • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to network and build excellent rapport with varied customers and colleagues
    • A thorough understanding of professional account selling
    • Ability to construct and deliver persuasive presentations
    • Be comfortable working from home and happy to travel nationally and stay away from home overnight occasionally.
