    The Opportunity

    A proactive, dedicated resource is required to assist with maintaining an oversight of security compliance activities within the Landmark group, and then being able to articulate and report on these activities to internal and external parties to provide assurance over the controls across the environments.

     

    The role will ensure that controls are operating effectively, reviewed at regular intervals, and meeting the objectives.  Control requirements will be identified by internal, or 3rd party reviews, or to meet regulations (such as ISO27001).

     

    The role requires interaction with all departments and employees, external customers, auditors and suppliers. In particular, there will be extensive engagement with IT operations.  Develop and gain agreement for action plans to resolve identified control improvements and track through to completion.

     

    The role will involve:

     

    • Act as a contact point for IT security controls within the organisation, interfacing with the departmental leads, product managers, and customers.
    • Maintain security records and monitor systems as appropriate. Provide control reports for Senior Management review.
    • Conduct or oversee periodic risk analysis and assessments and review solutions in place to mitigate those risks.
    • Support the implementation of policies, standards, & guidelines needed to support information security compliance throughout the organisation. Periodically review policies and make recommendations for improvements
    • Ensure adequate and effective IT controls exist to meet current security compliance requirements.
    • Ensure compliance and conformance on ISO27001 and, generally, on information risk analysis/management.
    • Support external (Clients) and internal security audits, providing a proactive maintenance of controls to ensure client confidence.
    • Provide advice and take action, where necessary, in response to audit findings and recommendations in respect of information security
    • Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, ensuring that these are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations, including reviewing policies on a regular basis
    • To represent Landmark from a controls standpoint during 3rd party audits and reviews

    About You

    We are looking for an IT Security Compliance administrator with:

     

    • Experience in an Audit/Compliance role in a technical environment
    • A Sound knowledge of ISO27001
    • A Knowledge of regulations – GDPR, DPA
    • A relevant audit/compliance qualification or be working towards one.
    • An inquisitive nature, high attention to detail and a capability to distil information and identify the underlying key factors.
