Landmark Information Group, part of the Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT), is the UK's leading provider of land and property search information, including digital mapping, environmental risk reports for property professionals and sophisticated property management tools for surveyors, risk and fraud managers and the broader financial markets. It also has operations in Germany in the form of On-Geo, and interests in Holland. We develop both products and services/solutions for our customers, ranging from environmental consultants, surveyors and some of the UK's largest banks & lending institutions (to name just a selection) who all have a common interest - land and property information.
We are looking for a Product Manager to play a critical role in identifying and executing the product development and product marketing objectives of the Legal division of Landmark Information Group.
You will be working within the Environment, Legal and Mapping (ELM) Division, which is responsible for the provision of environmental risk and digital mapping platforms and products, supporting Lawyers, environmental consultants, architects, surveyors and other property professionals.
Your focus will be managing the Legal portfolio, providing products and services which are required in the conveyancing search industry by resellers, legal and property professionals. You will have full product lifecycle and roadmap ownership, therefore, playing a pivotal role in the success of the product ROI. You will be responsible for working with customers and stakeholders to capture market requirements and establish the value proposition to secure business case approval. You will work closely with development, customer service and operations teams to ensure that the market benefits are delivered and ultimately realised. You will be expected to work closely with senior stakeholders in the business to ensure that Landmark’s future digital environmental products support, align and integrate with new business initiatives. This role can be based from either our Reading or Brighton offices.
Product Management Training is highly desirable, however not essential. You will need to be familiar with conveyancing search markets and environment data along with possessing market research and competitor analysis skills. You need to have experience in managing digital products in the property sector and be able to analyse metrics with the purpose of improving product performance. You will need to have strong influencing skills and be an excellent communicator with the ability to run and facilitate focus groups. Experience of writing and delivering business cases is require whilst the ability to document epic requirements would be advantageous. You should be able to communicate with all levels of seniority and have the ability to build excellent rapport with customers and colleagues. It is desirable to have a degree in a relevant field however this is not essential,
