It is part of the UK business to business arm of the Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT), with a goal of continuing to identify, invest in and organically develop strong and differentiated B2B information businesses.
Working with the Product Team you will be expected to examine and translate laws, official guidelines, precedents and existing working practices. The research will need to be thorough and meticulous in order to provide comprehensive and astute analysis, which will then be turned into practical business workflow processes and legal content for our private client suit of workflows.
You will be expected to take a pro-active role in informing and preparing the business in advance of any legal changes where they can be foreseen. Alongside assisting with our existing product suite, you will also be tasked with researching, documenting and designing content for new legal products and features.
To be considered for this role you it is desirable if you have a professional qualification in a relevant field, it would also be advantageous to be STEP qualified. We require you to have extensive experience in dealing with Private Client Matters and be proficient in researching and translating statutes and official guidelines. You will need to have proven experience of understanding Probate Estate Accounts and have the ability to draft letters and legal precedents to a professional standard. You must have excellent communication skills and keep up to date with industry trends and advancements. You should be a competent professional requiring minimal supervision.
