Landmark Information Group, part of the Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT), is the UK's leading provider of land and property search information, including digital mapping, environmental risk reports for property professionals and sophisticated property management tools to surveyors, risk and fraud managers and the broader financial markets. It also has operations in Germany in the form of On-Geo, and interests in Holland. We develop both products and services/solutions for our customers, ranging from environmental consultants, surveyors and some of the UK's largest banks & lending institutions (to name just a selection) who all have a common interest - land and property information.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team. The main focus for this role is to develop and support the analysis, ETL and QA of data holdings within the Landmark Group. You will be required to undertake advanced statistical and spatial analysis of large complex datasets and create or collaborate with colleagues, to develop processes to load and maintain data in a suitable format for use in products or services. You will work and help develop statistical data models, and automate the production of them. You will be working on your own initiative to understand requirements and deliver solutions to specific data related problems.
To be considered for the role it is essential that you hold a qualification in GIS or a Data related discipline, or have significant professional experience. You will need to have strong attention to detail, have excellent SQL knowledge and possess a desire to solve complex problems. It would be highly advantageous for you to have previous programming and statistical modelling experience. Excellent communications skills along with the ability to identify and progress innovative opportunities are required.
